Youth Volunteer Info

The Irish Fest Youth Volunteer Program is in its 31st year. The festival's youth volunteers are the future of Irish Fest and the organization encourages kids of all ages to participate. We place volunteers in all different areas of the festival to work 3-4 hour shifts. Past jobs have included helping with the parade, performing in the Cultural area, helping with children's activities and greeting our guests.

All youth interested in volunteering can start by printing out the forms below. Anyone under the age of 18 who volunteers at the festival will need to have a permission slip. Fill out the permission slip and application and mail it to the Irish Fest office. Youth between the ages of 13-17 can be placed in a job without a parent. Youth under 13 need to be with a parent or adult friend.

Families with young children are invited to participate in a special program where they can work together in a fun, child-oriented activity for a special 3 hour shift.

All volunteers will receive tickets for the Thursday night Hooley, a participant pass, and food coupons.

Contact lizsanders@wi.rr.com for more information and to obtain an application and consent form. Please include the words “Irish Fest” in your e-mail subject line.
