Pirate Paddy

Family Passport to Irish Fest

Join in the fun and follow Pirate Paddy as he leads the whole family on an Irish Fest adventure! The Family Passport to Irish Fest, Friday, 4 – 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 12 – 4 p.m., will highlight the top family-oriented activities taking place during the weekend. Kids and parents can pick up a passport at any of the 10 cultural destinations to start their journey – making Irish Fest navigation interactive and easy. Noteworthy stops on the Family Passport map include: Celtic Canines, Hurling, Tipperary Staging Area, Saint Patrick’s Centre exhibit in the Cultural Village, Greenwish Village and the Children’s Activity Area as well as other exciting stops. Now in its second year, the Family Passport program engages children of all ages with new activities and prizes at every location, providing an authentic Irish experience along the way. Jameson Lounge

Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and select marks of Jameson Irish Whiskey at Irish Fest's new Jameson Lounge, located at the Paddy O West deck near the south gate. At the Lounge, all Irish Fest guests 21 and over
that present a valid I.D., can enjoy a true taste of the Emerald Isle and mingle with other festival-goers throughout the weekend. The Jameson Lounge is open Friday, August 15th through Sunday, August 17th during regular Irish Fest hours and entry is complimentary.

Guests can also enjoy one of the Jameson Lounge's authentic Irish Whiskey tastings held on Saturday, August 16th at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 17th at 1 and 3 p.m. in the covered area downstairs from the Lounge. The tastings will be lead by an official Jameson Irish Whiskey Ambassador from Ireland.

Please make your Jameson Irish Whiskey tasting reservation in person on the grounds at the Paddy O West area. Reservations are $15 per person and will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

College DayCollege Day

Calling All College Students!
Students enrolled in local and regional colleges and universities are invited to College Day at Irish Fest Sunday, August 17. Those who present a valid college student ID at the Main gate only, from 3 – 9 p.m. will receive $2 off the daily ticket price.


Galway Bay Song Contest

Galway Bay Song Contest

Unleash Your Irish Idol!
To help celebrate the festival theme of Galway, Irish Fest is hosting a Galway Bay Song Contest! Interested participants are encouraged to record their own version (all arrangements welcome) of the song, Galway Bay, and submit it via e-mail to publicrelations@irishfest.com for the chance to have their song posted on the Irish Fest Web site from August 14 to September 30. Where's Your Paddy Logo

Where's Your Paddy?

Come join Milwaukee Irish Fest in celebrating Where’s Your Paddy? on Thursday, August 14, from 6 – 9 p.m. in the Crossroads Area (just east of the Miller Lite Oasis) on the Irish Fest grounds!

The third annual Where’s Your Paddy? is set for another great year living up to its name as Milwaukee’s largest Irish happy hour for young professionals. Imagine an exclusive area where you can socialize and enjoy perks, including live entertainment by local Celtic-rock, country band, The Gleasons, two complimentary beers per person and the chance to sign-up for fantastic giveaways!

Please see below for a list of locations throughout the city where you can pick up your exclusive Where's Your Paddy? entry card. All guests MUST show this card upon entry along with an ID as you must be 21 to enter. Slainte!

Note: this does NOT serve as admission to Irish Fest. Thursday night’s festival admission is $5 or free with donation of school supplies. Present entry card to Where’s Your Paddy? once on the grounds.

Moore St. Market

Festival-goers are encouraged to bring their Belleek collectibles for an appraisal by Tony Hearty, specialist in antique Belleek pottery, on Thursday night. He will host his Auld Belleek Road Show on the north end of the grounds, making this attraction a first for Irish Fest. Hearty, hails from Newry, County Down, and has appeared on England's Antique Road Show. He will be displaying and selling some of his rare Belleek collection, a must-see for antique collectors of all types, throughout the weekend at the Moore Street Marketplace.
