The Irish Fest Youth Volunteer Program is in it's 30th year. The festival's youth volunteers are the future of Irish Fest and the organization encourages kids of all ages to participate. We place volunteers in all different areas of the festival to work 3-4 hour shifts. Past jobs have included helping with the parade, performing in the Cultural area, helping with children's activities and greeting our guests.
Children between the ages of 13 & 17 who would like to volunteer must register in advance by submitting an application and signed parental consent form before August 1. Children 12 years and younger can volunteer only if they are supervised on-site by a parent, adult relative, or adult friend.
Families with young children are invited to participate in a special program where they can work together in a fun, child-oriented activity for a special 3 hour shift.
All volunteers will receive tickets for the Thursday night Hooley, a participant pass, a family parking pass and food coupons.
Contact lizsanders@wi.rr.com for more information and to obtain an application and consent form. Please include the words “Irish Fest” in your e-mail subject line.
