
Save the date for the 2010 Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School! To help Milwaukee Irish Fest celebrate its 30th Anniversary, the School will continue to provide an amazing roster of talented instructors from across the world to teach courses in Irish music, dance, song, arts, history, language and culture.
Faculty already confirmed for 2010 include:
Grammy-nominated Liz Carroll will be teaching Intermediate and Advanced Fiddle classes!
Tony Ryan will teach set dancing classes!
Tommy Sands, legendary singer-songwriter and peace activist, will return!
The members of Slide a fan favorite act from the 2009 Milwaukee Irish Fest:
Joanie Madden of Cherish the Ladies will be teaching Intermediate/Advance whistle!
Mick Moloney, Irish musician and folklorist, will be presenting three lectures!
Robbie O'Connell, songwriter extraordinaire, will teach a special songwriting class!
Ed Paloucek will teach Fiddle Transitions.Kaitlin Hahn is teaching Beginning Irish Fiddle.

Congratulations to Anna Olson of Brookfield who won the 2009 Scholarship!
Anna is an aspiring fiddle student. This scholarship is awarded to one student
each year for tuition at the Irish Fest Summer School.
