We want you to have an enjoyable experience at Milwaukee Irish Fest AND feel safe when visiting!

We are evaluating input from the City of Milwaukee and Health Dept. and are monitoring current CDC guidelines. Below you will find some essential information and helpful reminders to assist with your festival plans.

At this time, we are not requiring proof of vaccinations in order to attend the festival (nor proof of negative COVID-19 test). Current CDC guidelines recommend people wear face coverings indoors and in crowded outdoor settings when you are unable to social distance. We strongly encourage our patrons to do their part in following the CDC guidelines and wearing face coverings at the festival.

face coverings will NOT be required at Irish Fest

FACE COVERINGS

At this time, we are not requiring face coverings in order to attend the festival. Due to the ever-evolving environment of COVID-19, the CDC and City of Milwaukee continue to update their recommendations. Please visit the CDC website for the most up-to-date recommendations.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We modified parts of the festival grounds in order to accommodate for more space. These created spaces allow for patrons to spread out, such as at our Crossroads Seating Area sponsored by Northwoods.

SANITIZING STATIONS

There will be multiple hand sanitizing stations installed throughout the grounds. Please sanitize and wash your hands frequently when visiting the festival to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

CLEANING PROTOCOLS

There will be enhanced, rigorous cleaning protocols routinely implemented throughout the festival weekend.

The CDC strongly advises people to not attend an event if:

Within 14 days before attending the festival you have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
You are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms (fever (100.4◦F), cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19)
You are immunocompromised
You traveled to a country that is subject to a U.S. Department of State Department Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory or a CDC Level 3 Travel Health Notice, within 14 days of the festival

Health Resources

Current CDC Guidance: Getting vaccinated prevents severe illness, hospitalizations, and death. Unvaccinated people should get vaccinated and continue masking until they are fully vaccinated. With the Delta variant, this is more urgent than ever. The CDC has updated guidance for fully vaccinated people based on new evidence on the Delta variant.
