Teaching Masterpieces of an Irish Visionary: Harry Clarke (T-W-Th)
Marguerite Helmers is Professor Emerita of English at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She is a past fellow of the Institute for Research in the Humanities at UWM Madison and the University College Dublin Humanities Institute. Dr. Helmers has published two books on Irish artist Harry Clarke with the Irish Academic Press, and several articles on the intersections of politics, cultural movements, images, and the written word in early 20th century Ireland. She has recently become a docent tour guide with Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, leading the tour on World War I.
