Síle (Sheila) Post, Ph.D.—a first-generation, Irish-American, South Sider—has followed the trail of the wild salmon that swim through YOUR OWN ONES, crossing the Atlantic herself in search of extraordinary Places—from the ancient cliffs of Dingle to the timeless fjords of Norway, to protect her own ones—the wild salmon of Atlantic Canada & Kerry, the pristine beaches of Prince Edward Island, & the primeval forests of New England. She resides among nature enthusiasts in New Hampshire, Celts in Prince Edward Island, & Irish family in Chicago & Kerry. She is also the author of THE ROAD TO WALDEN NORTH—a novel that chronicles the transcendental journey of Dr. Kate Brown, a first-generation Irish-American, to embracing her Celtic, Nature-centered heritage. Her novel, IRISH DREAMS, set in Ireland and Chicago, as well as her play, YOUR OWN ONES, are forthcoming in 2019.
At Milwaukee Fest, Sile will read from YOUR OWN ONES.
