Danielle is a dancer, fiddler, and enthochoreologist (dance anthropologist). Danielle is an Irish step-dancer, and a sean-nós (old-style) dancer. She specializes in sean-nós dance, dance master traditions, and the relationship between traditional dance and music.
Danielle holds an MA in Ethnochoreology from Munster Technological University in Tralee, County Kerry, and a Diploma in Traditional Irish Music from Univerity College Cork. Danielle has studied traditions in the north of Ireland, Sliabh Luachra, Connemara, and Roscommon, and has direct ties to some of the last itinerant dancing masters in Ireland, Stevie Comerford, Jeremiah Molyneaux, and Comack O’Keefe.
