VETERANS: Please consider sharing your story with the WI Veterans Museum at Milwaukee Irish Fest
Milwaukee Irish Fest is partnering with the Wisconsin Veterans Museum to conduct oral history interviews during the festival. The Wisconsin Veterans Museum will conduct interviews with veterans Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival, in a private, quiet space on the grounds.
If you plan to attend Irish Fest and are a veteran and/or know someone who is, please consider reaching out to us to schedule a time to be interviewed. Interviews are by scheduled appointment only. Contact Oral Historian Luke Sprague with the Wisconsin Veterans Museum at (608) 261-0537 or at luke.sprague@dva.wisconsin.gov.
The goal is to record veteran experiences and preserve history. All interviews will be made available on the Wisconsin Veterans Museum website through a digital collection. We thank you for your service and hope to hear from you!
