Since 1981, Milwaukee Irish Fest has been dedicated to celebrating and sharing our rich Celtic heritage with the world. We are passionate about preserving the history and tradition of Irish, Irish American, and Celtic cultures throughout Milwaukee Irish Fest and other programs all year long with our parent company, CelticMKE.
True to its mission statement, "To promote and celebrate all aspects of Irish culture and to instill in future generations an appreciation of Irish heritage," CelticMKE is much more than a festival. Outreach endeavors include an active foundation, several scholarship and grant opportunities, a summer school, a school of music, and the Ward Irish Music Archives.
Milwaukee Irish Fest is held annually the third weekend in August along the shores of Lake Michigan at the Henry W. Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Location & Parking
There are street parking and parking lot options near the festival grounds (street parking is free on the weekends). Please note Milwaukee Irish Fest does not maintain any of the parking lots in the area.

Milwaukee Irish Fest is cashless.
Irish Fest is a cashless festival. We accept debit/credit cards. Cash will still be accepted for raffle tickets, rentals, package checks, and select vendors (e.g., marketplace, food booths). Use our Cash to Card stations—located at box offices and inside each entrance—to load cash onto a prepaid card for use throughout the festival.
