I rolled over my tickets from 2020. What do I need to know?

We sent an email to all of those who wished to transfer their tickets back in December of 2020. If you did not receive this email, or have yet to unlock your transfer tickets for 2021, please reach out to us at ticketsales@irishfest.com so we can assist you!

I purchased tickets for the 2020 Irish Fest in-person (versus online). Do those rollover?

If you purchased a ticket in person at the end of 2019 or some time in 2020, such as at our Celtic Christmas Boutique, a community event, or at the office, then those hard-stock tickets will be honored at the gate, and you do not need a transferred ticket.

I had received a complimentary ticket for the 2020 festival. What do I do?

If you received a hard-stock complimentary ticket that was for the 2020 festival, and you received it as a winning from a raffle or community event fundraiser, for example, those complimentary tickets will be accepted at the gate this year. You do not need to have a transferred ticket.

I am having trouble purchasing a ticket online. Help!

Health & Safety

What changes will be made due to COVID-19?

Health and Safety updates will be available closer to the time of our festival. Updates will be available here.

We are working with and evaluating input from the City of Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Health Department, and are monitoring CDC guidelines in order to create the safest environment possible. We will follow any health and safety restrictions and recommendations that are in place at the time of our festival.

We will also have enhanced cleaning protocols, hand sanitizing stations installed throughout the grounds to promote frequene hand washing, and have also modified some of the layout of the grounds to better accommodate for social distancing.

Will face coverings be required?

As of June 1st, the City of Milwaukee no longer has a mask mandate in place for indoor or outdoor venues. We continue to monitor the latest CDC guidelines and City of Milwaukee announcements. At this time, we are not requiring face coverings in order to attend the festival.

The CDC and City of Milwaukee continue to update their suggestions, due to the ever-evolving environment of COVID-19. It is currently recommended that face coverings are worn by people whenever indoors or in crowded areas, regardless of vaccination status.

Final health and safety precautions for the festival will be published here.

Will I have to be vaccinated to attend?

We will not require people to show proof of vaccination in order to attend Milwaukee Irish Fest.

What if I become ill or injured while I'm at Irish Fest?

We have a fully staffed first aid area on the grounds and medical teams that monitor the crowds.  Ambulance service is provided by Event Medical Services.

Is there a nursing station?

Yes! We have a family and nursing station in the Children's Area. It's located inside the new building near the Playground Area and has 4 family restroom/changing areas, a nursing room and sensory rooms.

The CDC strongly advises people to not attend an event if:

  • Within 14 days before attending the festival you have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
  • You are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms (fever (100.4◦F), cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19)
  • You are immunocompromised
  • You traveled to a country that is subject to a U.S. Department of State Department Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory or a CDC Level 3 Travel Health Notice, within 14 days of the festival
