The Providence Ceili band is a Southeastern Wisconsin quintet consisting of two fiddles, button accordion, bodhran and guitar. Steeped in the tradition, the band's energetic, clover-infused performances fuel an experience on the dance floor that brings people jigging and reeling for more. Long-time Irish music maven, Ed Paloucek (fiddle) is joined by his children, Clara (fiddle) and Kristyna (button accordion)--both of whom were introduced to the music before they graduated from the high-chair. Irish Fest regular Auntie Sue Spencer (guitar) and Michael Smith (bodhran) provide the rhythmic engine, supercharged, ensuring a ceili that is high octane and rollickingly kinetic.
