Gabrielle Ní Mheachair is an award-winning Irish author living in Sussex, Wisconsin. She writes children’s books in Irish along with fairy stories, Irish history, and lore. Her latest work, Flint and Stone, is a magical tale of an American woman researching her roots in Ireland. She encounters wonderful people, engages in exciting adventures, a romance, and the unexpected truth about her famine-era ancestors. Gabrielle won the Oireachtas Award for her children’s book Lughaidh Leabhair in 2024 and the Tipp F.M. Award in 2019 for her literary achievements.
