Formed in Milwaukee in 2004, Atlantic Wave celebrates the Celtic traditional music of Ireland and Scotland, as well as the distinctive style of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. All of this is reflected in the sounds of their two fiddlers, Ed Paloucek and Kaitlin Hahn. They're joined by a singer/guitarist with a penchant for ballads, Barry Houlehen, and bodhran player Michael Smith, who, along with Ed, often brings a banjo to their shows.
