The Oireachtas na Gaeilge is Ireland’s premier Irish cultural festival. It’s famous for competitions in traditional sean-nós singing, sean-nós dance, humorous songs, storytelling and music – all happening in the Irish language. You’ll get a taste of all that in our Gaeltacht, hosted by Ray Mac Mánais and featuring sean-nós singer Gearóidín Breathnach and sean-nós dancer Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin.
