Oireachtas Show

The Oireachtas na Gaeilge is Ireland’s premier Irish cultural festival. It’s famous for competitions in traditional sean-nós singing, sean-nós dance, humorous songs, storytelling, and music—all happening in the Irish language. You’ll get a taste of all that in our Gaeltacht, hosted by Ray Mac Mánais and featuring sean-nós singer Máirín Uí Chéide and sean-nós dancer Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin. And Ray, Joe, and Gearóid will let you in on the fun with their bilingual Irish/English lúibín. Also performing: Ed Paloucek and Sue Spencer.
