Mary Donoghue McCain is the director of the Irish Studies Program at DePaul University, where she has taught since 2004. She teaches courses on Irish history from 1450 to the present, on Northern Ireland, and on the Irish in Chicago. She has a PhD in history from the University of Chicago.
